The Centre is overseen by Manager Wendy Sinnott, while the in‑house Community Employment Scheme is coordinated by Dolores Gorman. Our office administrator, Christina Bowes, is available to assist with any queries that may arise.
We also have a team of drivers who collect clients each morning, bring them home safely, deliver Meals on Wheels, and provide transport for outings and activities. We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff who care for our clients each day while they are in the Centre, ensuring comfort, support, and companionship throughout their visit.
Our kitchen staff also play an essential role, preparing delicious, home‑cooked meals and refreshments that our clients enjoy throughout the day. The commitment and kindness of all the staff in the Centre help create the welcoming, homely atmosphere we are so proud of.
CENTRE IS FUNDED BY HSE AND DSP
Tullow Day Care Centre has benefited from the support of the DSP/Community Employment Scheme since its earliest days, and we remain deeply grateful for their continued assistance. We currently have capacity for 28 participants and one Supervisor within the scheme. The Centre also receives partial funding from the HSE, which contributes towards the employment of 14 staff members.
