COVID19 UPDATE

Tullow Day Care Centre reopened its doors to clients on Monday, 5th July 2021. The following services have resumed collection of clients, meals in the Centre and in house bingo. Please note our Meals on Wheels service, Laundry service, Chiropody service and our Befriender Telephone Service still continue to operate also. Our Centre is staffed and we are available by phone. MISSION STATEMENT
The main object for which the Company is established (the “Main Object”) is to promote and support the ongoing provision of Day Care facilities for the elderly and infirm from Tullow, County Carlow, and the surrounding hinterland for the benefit of the Community.

THE AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF TULLOW DAY CARE CENTRE CLG

  • To promote the physical, mental, social & spiritual well-being of the Senior Citizens of Tullow and the surrounding areas.
  • To maintain the dignity of the person in his/her third age while living at home, instead of in care.
  • To acknowledge the life skills of the elderly by sharing their experiences & talents.
  • To provide a confidential listening ear.
